The Site Is Back

Ross Enamait and Katie Taylor at the press conference in Dallas after defeating Amanda Serrano live on Netflix

It’s been a while.

Over the past several years, my time and energy have been focused where they belong – in the gym, in the corner, and alongside world-class athletes competing on the biggest stages in boxing.

RossTraining.com has always been about real-world experience. I’ve never written for the sake of writing. If something appears here, it’s because it has been tested, refined, and proven under pressure.

The site is being refreshed and streamlined, and I plan to begin posting again soon.

The goal remains the same:

Practical training insight. No fluff. No gimmicks. Just what works.

If you’ve followed this site for years, I appreciate you. If you’re new, welcome.

More to come.

Ross

  3. Hi Ross!

I’m thrilled that you are back, up and running again. For too many reasons, I stopped being a regular on your site. I have missed it.

Interestingly, today I had an inner prompting to reconnect with a buddy I know from the discussion forums you used to host. As I started writing an email to him, it seemed only right to visit here and see what you have been up to. I am glad I did and that my coming here coincided with your announced return. that’s great. I look forward to coming here regularly and continuing to learn about my favorite sport.

Thanks for all you do, and welcome back! ?

  6. This is a different sort of comment than the others on here, but I use one of your articles in an English class I teach at a community college in Western NY. I am happy to see that you are back – it means I can continue to rely on the article and the site to teach some core concepts to composition students! 🙂

  7. I discovered your site back in 2004. Big fan of Kattie Taylor, your real world training and hybrid athletic ability (skilled, fast, powerful). I’m a Canadian expat living in Poland who trains boxers here. I will be utilising this site once again.

    Cheers

Possibly the fittest I ever got so just want to say a huge thank you. I’m 54 now and I’m on a new health kick for this year as I got up to 211 lbs and hoping to shed some timber to get back to 202 ??

  11. I’ve been studying your content since 2003 or 2005? back in the rossboxing blog data. You had the rated H for hard-core video and i remebwr being blown away wondering if I could learn this too. I was just a punk kid in 9th or 10th grade freshly picking up boxing, I had some solid old school coaches. Little did I know just how much my life was going to change for the better following your training methodologies. I’m fired up for the new content and rehashing of old methods!

  12. It’s great to see you back!! I’ve been using your old skool techniques getting on for 20 years now. I stumbled upon your “H is for Hard Core” video, back when 10 minutes was your limit for a YouTube upload and back when we all used to share training ideas on your Ross training forum!!

Still using infinite intensity as the basis for my workouts, a few tweaks here and there to give me more time to recover, but otherwise the same programme; 20 years older, 20 years stronger.

  14. Very glad to see you back writing again Ross. I like your training style and your approach to fitness, and I respect the fact that you walk the walk. I was still visiting your site often when I had a topic in mind (or even when I didnt!). It was only a few weeks ago that I was reading your old hill sprint posts. Im looking forward to reading your future posts.

  15. Glad to see you back!! I started following you maybe ‘05. Still have all your books and DVD’S. Those books, articles and forum helped me with training so much back then. Especially since we had little money so most of my equipment was homemade (sandbags, T-handle swings are still used). You’re a gem to the community

  23. Ross!

I’m late to the game, but I’m so glad that you’re posting blogs again. I have all your books and continue to use them regularly. I first bought Never Gymless in 2012 and used it to help me get into better shape for a Tough Mudder. I have used it to build my own programs since then. I continue to reference your books and philosophy, and recently I’ve used the minute drills outline in them to help my sons with conditioning for wrestling. Your books, blogs, videos, philosophy have helped shape my own fitness and well being.

    Thanks!
