Interview With Chip Perez

Below is an interview of super featherweight boxer Chip Perez following his last fight in July.

As many know, he will be fighting again in October at the Twin River Casino in Rhode Island. We are currently working hard in preparations for the bout.

If you live in the area, come on down and check out an exciting night of pro boxing.

“The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses – behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.” – Muhammad Ali

  1. Cool to hear he’s down for the team – keep his head about his business with everyone’s input. Love and respect. Wish you cats all the best for the upcoming fight!

  2. Seems like a nice humble young man. Best of luck. It’s has got to be hard to balance a full time job, fatherhood, and the training that comes with being a professional fighter. I have read stories on how Joe Frazier would get up in the wee hours of the morning and put in his time on the road, before putting in a long hard day at the slaughterhouse, and then finish it up with boxing at night. I’ve heard Frazier trained full throttle whether skipping rope, sparring or punching the bags. Even as a young man that kind of daily grind will weed out anyone whose heart isn’t in it.
