Thursday 19th July

Lunchtime: Slow work with a sword, various combinations.

Evening: Re-enactment training. Fought with just a jack, maille shirt, helmet and gauntlets. I did not wear a belt in order to make the maille shirt harder work.
I trained someone in how to fight against a spear, then fought against some of the other experienced fighters before running the group combat. Had fun, got tired.

Friday 20th July

10 clean and press with each hand
Run down the street and run back

Repeat for 15 minutes

Managed 7 reps.

Slow sword work. Did some movement combinations.
Total 110 shots (5 start points with 11 shots with combinations of 2).

Monday 23rd July

Farmer's walks. Managed 7 reps in 10 minutes.

Skipping - aimed for 3 sets of 3 mins. Was absolutely shattered after 1 rep of 3 minutes and still had the skill training left so stopped there.

Sword training. Approx 150 shots. 2 step combinations heading left and right after the first shot.

Sledge dragging

3 up and 3 back change hands each time
1st Sandbag + 2.5 kilos
2nd Sandbag + 5 kilos
3rd Sandbag + 7.5 kilos

100 medicine ball slams - 2:50 and I broke the medicine ball :-(

11x11 shots with my training sword (total 121).

Re-enactment training.

Fought one full power fight with a guy who is quite new whom I eventually hit too hard and had to help off the field.

Another spear fight and then a group fight,

Friday 28th July

Zerker sandbag carry
10 cdb clean and press with each arm
Fireman sandbag carry

Repeat 5 times

150 slow sword shots
