I don't usually post my sprint workouts, even though they are more conditioning than anything else, because I don't time them. Usually I run hill sprints up a brutal hill near my home, charging up 6-8 times depending on the day. Often each sprint is capped with a quick bodyweight set such as 5 burpees or 10 jumping jacks.

But a couple of days ago I did something different. I went to a lake that's almost 4 miles around and I followed this pattern: sprint as if running for my life for perhaps 100 meters or so, slow to walking, get my breathing under control, count 40 slow, controlled breaths, repeat. I did 11 or 12 sprints in this fashion, walking the last half mile or so. Today I am sore in ways I have never felt. Feels great!
