if you train pull ups and dips, you will get good at pull ups and dips.

If you hope to gain a significant amount of size and muscle, you need to increase your caloric and protein intake. When a workout routine is based around hypertrophy, you should use exercises which you can do approximately 8-12 reps with using around 60-80% of your one rep max. If you, personally, can achieve both the percentage and rep range combined using pull-ups and dips, then both are fine to use.
Also, make sure you train other parts of your body, otherwise your size and strength will be unbalanced.

You'll need more than *just* bodyweight pull-ups and dips if you want to grow- even if you eat plenty.

Why not just try it for a couple of months or so. You'll have the answer to your question. I like high frequency chin ups, usually 5 days a week. Can't beat a bit of extra pulling, just make sure you're not going to failure each day, I like to leave a rep or 2 in the tank. I find I burn out quickly otherwise.
