I had two bikes stolen so I know how it feels. The first one was a mountain bike for about 250$. About a year later it was stolen. It really depressed me. Then I got a Scott mountain bike for about 500$ and got a bike insurance just in case. After about another year I left that one locked(but not locked to a pole) in a back lot of my house for about 15 minutes and it got stolen. I was so pissed off that I called up the insurance and asked them if they will pay me the insurance money and they said yes. I went into town on the very same day and bought a Specialized Rockhopper mountain bike for about 800$. Normally it was about 1200$ but on sale because it was the last year's model. From then on I always locked it to a pole with two locks, including the wheels. Sometimes I even had it locked up outside for several nites with the two lock method and it never got stolen. The second bike was the last time anyone stole my bike and that's about 15 years ago.

Please don't post this shit to comfort yourself why you pussied out from taking something that belongs to you. I tend to agree with ice on this one. Your bike was stolen once because of your own negligence (people steal things, you can't just leave your bike unchained), and when you found it again, not only did you not confront the guy, but you let it get away from you a second time.

But then you would be the biggest moron on this board, since you came all over from U.S for my bike. Well you are a moron since your train of thought, does not match that of a normal human being!
