Kaizen, Japanese for "improvement", or "change for the better" refers to philosophy or practices that focus upon continuous improvement.

So its time for a change. I`m overweight and very unfit. I know i can change for the better with a kaizen (small steps for big improvements) mindset. I hate when i go mtb`ing with friends and get left behind so i need to work on gpp, stamina. I want to be stronger all round as i`m very weak for a big guy. Any time i hit a goal i`ll tag it with Kaizen, hopefully there will be a few of them along the way.

Goals
Lose ~50lbs of bodyfat
Run 10k
Cycle 100 miles
... there are many more, too many to type out just now.

Mini goals
Lose 1lb per week
3 workouts per week
Stick to a healthy diet using the 90% rule.

My plan is....
3 days weighlifting + running
2 days cycling, mountain biking/road cycling
2 days of anything i fancy.


Current weight

249.6

Small steps, but its a start.

I have had a strange stomach problem the past week. So no exercise was done.

Walking 1 mile.

My current weight as off today is 243 but i cant take that as a true reading due to illness and loss of appetite over the past week.
