31/01/2012 Fucking gym removed the squat stands for no reason. I asked around why, no one could give me a proper answer. I'm going to talk to the owner to see if we can sort something out and just focus on deadlifts for a while. Fucking ridiculous.
Bulgarian split squats 1 x 5 @ 45kg 1 x 2 @ 50kg
Weighted pull-ups 1 x 27,5kg 4 x 1 @25kg 2 x 1 @22,5kg
Deadlift 1 x 5 @ 127,5kg

03/02/2012 Went light, had a comp the next day (which went very well, got a new PB and getting closer to the national cut). I got my squat stands back, whoo!
Squat 1 x 5 @ 40kg 1 x 5 @ 50kg
Power Cleans Lots of sets with an empty bar 2 x 3 @ 40kg
Learning Power Cleans, I really think these could be a very valuable addition.

Hurt my shoulder yesterday. Not too badly, just a bruise I got from a fall during a handball game. I couldn't do any upper body stuff and couldn't squat heavy comfortably so I just did
Squat 3 x 1 @ 90 kg 1 x 1 @ 95 kg
My psoas is also bothering my a bit during the squats, despite being careful to stretch it beforehand. Will try massaging it later.

11/02/2012 Shoulder is still tweaky. Spent the whole week kicking in practice. So frustrating.
Complex: A1. Squat 1 x 2 @ 85kg A2. Jump Squats 6 @ weightless
Repeat 6 times.
The squats were a little heavier than usual due to fatigue from kicking. Psoas is better. Form was kind of shitty.

15/02/2012 Same as Saturday.
18/02/2012 Resting, so I decided to practice my power clean. Did loads of singles. Heaviest I went was 60kg I think. Will record for a form check soon.

Squat 3 x 5 @ 65kg
Press 3 x 5 @ 30kg
Power clean 5 x 3 @ 40kg
Weights are still coming up quite easily. But, better to start too low than too heavy!

25/03/2012 Currently on a break from swimming, but I want to retain some conditioning. Did GPP #2, it was fucking awful. I didn't get up from the floor for almost 10 minutes afterwards.. I'd forgotten just how effective these circuits can be.
