I LOVED their first clash! One of the best fights in a while.
Who do you got in the rematch?
I still like Salido. I just think JuanMa has no answer for than iron chin and overhand right! Will be a brill showing

This fight is tough as hell to call. I'm not convinced that JuanMa can make the defensive adjustments to prevent the same thing from happening again. At first I was thinking Salido by late KO again. But I just don't know how much the weight and personal issues affected Lopez the first time around. I know he's going to try to box more at first, but once those hometown fans start cheering I think he's going to go back to old habits and try to slug it out. If he does, I think he gets laid out again. With all that being said, I went with Lopez by decision. The only thing I'm 100% sure of is that Salido will not get a decision in Puerto Rico.

Is the ring the same size as last time?

Yep, just like the first fight. JuanMa resorted to brawling and couldn't stand up to Salido. That was an epic fight. Round 9 was one of the best rounds I've ever seen.

Incredible round 9.....great stuff by both men, thats what boxing is all about!.....Salido was hungrier from the start and deserved the win. Juanma's bullshit statments about the ref being a gambler and early stoppage absoulute garbage, I lost a lot of respect for him. The crowd was also magnificent! Salido truely is the road warrior! Statments about a third match......are you kidding me , how many beatdowns do we need to see between these two. Two of the Judges had Juanma ahead, what fucking fight were they watching, you gots to be kidding me?......Mikey Garcia looked good too, hope to see more of him too in the future!

Not surprised at the judging. The one thing I knew couldn't happen would be a Salido win by decision. JuanMa was talking crazy shit at the end of the fight. After the first fight he took the loss like a man and didn't make any excuses, but he didn't do the same this time. No need to see a third fight. JuanMa is, and always has been, overrated. His defense is atrocious. He can't make weight any more and if he moves up, who knows how his power will carry over? It's not just the Salido fight. He's been wobbled by numerous guys and can't make defensive adjustments.

I think Lopez is on his way out. I dunno if I would even grant a rematch. If so, no way in hell in would be in PR. How the hell did 2 have him ahead??
Salido is a little monster. Very fan friendly. He's got a great style, and there could be some great matches with this guy.
I think Mikey is 1 more fight away.
