I am starting a separate log to keep track of my pulling workouts, which mostly consist of pullups and chinups. I was working up to a one-arm pullup for quite a while and then got sidetracked from that by finishing my degree, getting a job, having a kid, and moving clear across the country within a 6-month period. No excuses, it's just time to get back on track.
My stats: I'm 31 years old, I weigh about 190 lbs. I've always been better at pullups than chinups. My most impressive pulling feats to date are 22 consecutive pullups and 305 pullups in an hour. All of my pullups are from the dead hang-if they are not then I don't count them.

My bread and butter are pyramids that alternate pullups and chinups. Start with 1 pullup, then 2 chinups, up to 6 chinups, back down to 1 pullup.
Today's workout: Ladder, +85lbs. Could not complete the set of 6 chins or second set of 5 pulls without one rest within each set.
As a general rule, I do not move up in weight for ladders until I can complete the ladder smoothly, all sets and reps.

10 one-arm negatives 10 regular grip pullups 10 wide grip pullups 10 chinups 10 parallel grip pullups
(Note: in all of these entries, I am ONLY recording the pulling portion of my workouts. During workouts that combine pulling with other exercises, I almost always do pulling first.)

Forgot to post a pyramid from Thursday, 1/19: +85lbs, could not finish the second set of 5 pulls.
TODAY: 10 1-arm negatives, 5 front levers. Then with a 20 lb. vest: 3X5 paralell grip pullups, 3X5 regular pullups, 3X5 chinups, and 2 trips across the monkey bars. Passed on third trip due to slight inner elbow pain that I recognize as the onset of nothing good.
