I put on about 8kg after stopping playing rugby. I went from about 74kg to 82kg, then dropped a little bit and I was around 80kg for quite a while but I got sick of looking fat around my midsection. So I've been dieting for the past 5 weeks and I'm back down at 74kg now. I went a bit too drastic with the diet in the first few weeks and lost strength and weight a little too fast, but I've upped the calories quite a lot now and I'm still slowly dropping bodyfat and staying at thw same weight. I've backed off the training to allow for the diet now, so I'm just doing 3 days a week on Madcows and starting light, so by the time I'm lifting near my maxes in a couple of monthes I'll be ready to up the calories again and clean bulk.

Hey mate, there's no specific reason, I just kind of started doing it that way a while ago! Dunno if it's a good way or not really, but it's a challenge. Next time I do it, I'm gonna try for 5 sets of 10 / 5 sets of 20, see how it goes...
