I went to my friends mma gym today for a circuit. It was epic! Each exercise was performed under time with 30sec rest after each exercise. For round 3 it was just as much as you could get done for the bear complex and leg blasters in the 60 seconds. That was definitely better than my normal conditioning stuff.

Round 1 - 30sec each exercise
Round 2 - 90sec each exercise

Kettlebell Swings - 35lb
Deadlift to Clean to Press - Bar
Fireman Plank
Flying Burpees
Sledge Hammer Swings
Row Machine

Round 3 - 60sec each exercise

Ring Hold
Frog Leaps
Bear Complex - 5 Bent Rows, 5 Cleans, 5 Press, 5 Front Squat, 5 Back Squat, 5 Push-ups
Leg Blaster - 20 BW squats, 20 Lunges, 20 Jumping Lunges, 10 Jumping Squats

Round 4
Four man mile. We finished in 6:10. I did my 1/4 mile in 1:30.

Submission Wrestling
I won 2 and lost 3.

I don't like taking more than one rest day at a time. I felt as though I was betraying part of myself by not training in any way.

Rest day: I didn't go to the gym or do any kind of conditioning but I moved and carried a lot of boxes and furniture at work so I got a workout from that a little. Not conventional but it worked.

12/14/10

5 rounds

5 Close-grip Pull-ups
10 Push-ups
5 Chin-ups
10 Bench dips

With 60 seconds rest at the end of each round I finished in just over 10 minutes.

Fastest Round: 59 seconds
Slowest Round: 78 seconds
