Hello, been training on and off for 20+ years mostly on. Best lifts: DL, 275k (606lb) Squat 205k (450) Push press 136k (300) CGB 160k (352) Militairy press 105k (230) Continental clean 145k (320) Sandbag shouldering, 90k (200) x 55 reps in 20 minutes 140k x 1. Sandbag Clean + press, 109k (240). Sandbag load 170k (375). All lifts were done at 90-95k bodyweight Also trained sub grappling on and off for 2 years. My current training involves just the sandbag and a barbell squat, my goals are to Clean and press a 115k sandbag and finally nail a 227k squat. i also like to train with the Bas Rutten tapes for extra cardio. Most of my lifts are here, http://www.youtube.com/user/ReDeV7Thanks for reading.

Sunday 28th September.
Sandbag shouldering 95k bag for 26 reps in under 20 minutes.
Headstand push ups, BW x 14,8.
I weigh 95k.
I've hit 55 reps for the above sandbag weight a few years ago in under 20 minutes, but the bag i used was an English militairy bag 12" wide x 30" high and tight as a drum, much easier than my current bag(s) which are Dutch and around 36" high and around 24" wide, makes this exercise a lot harder IMO.

Wednesday 3rd October.
SQUAT. LBS
135x5, 220x5, 265x3, 308x2, 352x6x6.
Tough as fuck, i'm doing the Master's Russian squat routine though abbreviated even more, i perform squats once a week. This is the volume phase completed. I'm 44 and have found squatting twice a week eats into my recovery too much with the sandbag lifting.

Friday 5th October. SANDBAG. Warmup on barbell clean + press, 135x10, 175x1, 200x1. Sandbag clean + press, 210lb x 10 singles in 20 attempts. Sandbag carry, 210 x 180 feet, 210 x 210 feet. www.youtube.com/user/ReDeV7I set the task at 10 C+P's with the bag no matter how many attempts it took and in the end it was 20 attempts. Sometimes the clean was 2 movements then a press sometimes it was more, thats the beauty of training on this thing, every lift offers something different. I filmed a successful attempt but it would have been boring watching a vid of the full workout. Finished with the carries.

Yes mate a few years ago. Regarding training, i've fallen out of love with the barbell apart from squatting, i feel as solid as a rock after training on the sandbag BUT i have found its easy to get injured on it if you aren't careful, had two finger tendon injuries ( couldn't make a full fist for 3 months) and tweaked my back and shoulder AND knee tendon, so its not for pussies Who are you mate, coming from a fellow Brit?

Tuesday 9th October.
SANDBAG.
Sandbag shouldering, 210lb bag x 36 reps in 26 minutes.
Handstand Push ups against a wall Hands raised on platforms 4" high,
BW ( 215) x 5,3,3,3,3,3.
If there is a better bang for buck exercise than shouldering a sandbag then i want to know it. I've let my sandbag training slide over the years becoming obsessed with 1rm barbell exercises and missing the complete joy of cumbersome unwieldly odd object training ( real man training). A full body workout with a simple bag of sand, strength and conditioning all in one in under half an hour, just fuckin love it! My goals on this apparatus are a 250 clean + press, 330 shoulder and the above 210 for 50 shoulders in 20 minutes, extras are 100 foot walk with 300lbs. I prefer to train the sandbag outdoors but the pissy English weather is preventing that, thus i keep the bag in my local gym and luckily nobody wants to touch it heh heh.
The HSPU's are a new accessory( did em a few years ago), i increased the ROM by 4" from last workout.
