Good session. Happy with 2 reps on bench, I knew I had little chance of getting the 3rd rep but I always like to push myself on the last week before deload. Happy with 4 on incline. The Big Five 55 was brutal, only rest was as the other person was going.

Great session. Deload week next week so I went heavy on everything. I cleaned the 106 (110) this week twice, first time I was surprised at how easy it was and I think it put me off the jerk a bit and just missed it, will get it next time. 2nd time I just didn't have anything left for the jerk at all. Squat is an equal PR so chuffed with that as my knee has been bothering me a lot. Surprised myself on the rack pulls, thought I'd maybe get 250 at a push. I stole the Klokov Complex from Youngys log from the other day and it was good fun. 100kg Push Press is a PR, but on that complex I didn't have anything left to even try the split jerk.

Thanks man, same to you. I just do the grip thing because my OCD/retardedness makes me paranoid about always doing stuff with the same hand supinated, so I try split sets in half as much as possible.
How come you have been doing more conditioning stuff? Just for fun? Or to help out with the endurance/cardio side of things for Strongman?

Deload day. During the complexs my knee was really hurting doing my usual style squat so I moved my feet out and tried sitting back more and it took away the pain, so I did some squats after them to try working on sitting back. I'm not as strong that way which is to be expected, but it was much less painful than it has been for the last few weeks. Might be something for me to work on until my knee feels better. The main thing I noticed was as the weight went up I wasn't able to sit back as much, probably weak hamstrings at a guess, and a confidence issue no doubt.

Good session. Happy with 6 on military. I messed up on the last set of log as my goal for the day was 2 reps with 99,5, I got the jerk wrong and was pissed off, so I made up for it by getting a PR, but to be honest I didn't really get that right either. Decent session. Was going to leave out deadlifts seen as I did heavy deficits on Saturday, and I woke up today with a stiff back, but after a good warm up I felt I'd be ok to get them done. Still don't feel as good with straps, hopefully my hand will be alright for next week. Didn't go for max reps on the squats as my knee isn't quite 100% yet. The complexes were a killer this week, that extra round was brutal.
