So the purpose of this log to document my training for the tough guy race 2014.

Started training last week, but forgot to write down what i did. :mozilla_undecided:

I copy my workouts from a website, so that's why they are written in capital letters. :mozilla_frown:

21.10

10 MINUTE ROW @ EASY PACE

THEN:

6-WAY BB COMPLEX (6X DEADLIFT + 6X ROW + 6X HANG CLEAN + 6X FRONT SQUAT + 6X BACK SQUAT + 6X PUSH PRESS + 6X PUSH-UP) 3 SETS @ 25KG

THEN:

FS @ 25KG + PUSH-UP, 30-20-10 REPS OF EACH

22.10

10 MINUTE ROW @ EASY PACE

THEN:

WORK UP TO BENCH PRESS 1RM = 60KG (My gym only has a smithmachine to bench, so i dont add the bar to the weight)

THEN:

6X2 BENCH PRESS @ 80% 1RM = 48KG

REST 2 MINUTES BETWEEN SETS

THEN:

8X (20SEC SPRINT/10SEC REST) ROW

REST 2 MINUTES

8X (20SEC SPRINT/10SEC REST) ROW


Evening: 90 min BJJ , just started with BJJ. Have to take more care of my knees, left one hurts again on thursday morning.

Been to italy for couple of days, so no training but good food. :mozilla_laughing:

30.10 Trailrunning ~5km, phone died so no gps data.
1h of surfing

31.10 Trailrunning Fartlek 3.63km in 23.07min

Joined the 10,000 kettlebellswing challenge and gonna join the Sally challenge here.
Gonna be a hard month. :mozilla_yell:

Sally challenge : 1:22min

Clean+Front Squat+Hang Clean @ 35kg
One triplet every 30seconds for 10 minutes = 20 triplets.

Work up to heavy DL ~ 100kg (lower back felt weak so i stop at 100kg)

Then

5x2 DL @ 100kg


Later:
420 swings in 22:59 minutes
Total: 820 swings @ 20kg

Later:

450 Swings in 24:45 minutes
Total: 1270 Swings @ 20kg
