Anyone remember this song?

Tuesday, July 10th

Weight = 258.0 (Down 0.2lb)

Notes
I was going to go for a 30 minute walk or jog before school, but I got up too late. Went straight to school then straight to work, didn't have time to do anything.

Wednesday, July 11th

Weight = 255.8 (down 2.2lbs)

CARDIO

Walk 1/2 lap around park
Run 1/2 lap around park

Sprints (about 40-50 yards)
5x60%
5x80%
5x60%

Run 1/4 lap around park
Walk 3/4 lap around park

Notes
This week I'm closing a lot, but the next couple of days I'm going to be getting to work in the afternoon, so that gives me some time to study and work out before which is great.

Today was a nice workout. One of the first times I can remember actually enjoying some running. Just realizing that I can slowly break into sprints and the like makes it so I can get a good workout for me without having cramping calves for the next week.

Tuesday, July 17th

Weight = 249.6 (Down 2.8lbs)

GOAL ACCOMPLISHED: WEIGH LESS THAN 250LBS

CARDIO

Treadmill Walking
5min x 3.0(mph)
35min x 3.6
5min x 3.0

Notes
So I started really updating this log again back on December 1st, 2011, and really working out after a few months of doing nothing after hurting my shoulder. I did well, lost 30lbs (half of my goal) in a couple of months. Got to about 255. Hung out there for a bit. Then I ran Doggcrapp for 3 months, (a mass building program) got more muscular, but was able to stay around the same weight, which was also a success. Now I've decided to lose that last 30lbs and focus on that, and it's going very well so far, I'm down nearly 10lbs in about 8 days.

Even though I've been around the 250 mark for a while, and not really caring to get under it recently, weighing under 250 is a goal I set for myself a long time ago. It's really a goal I've had for years. So I'm very happy to read that number on the scale this morning.

Next goal is 235. At that point, I will have lost 50lbs, which is a cool number.

Nice work, there's nothing quite like the feeling of crossing off a long term goal. Hats off you mate.

Damn I need a nap. When I get towards the end of the week like this, the being up early for school but getting off work late really starts to add up. At least no more school until Monday. I might try to take a 20 min power nap before I leave for work.

Nice article from Paul Carter:

Here's Jamie Lewis breaking a deadlift pr and I think a squat pr at a recent powerlifting meet:

Nevermind, I can't link the deadlift vid.
