Silva is scared. He knows if nothing else he's getting beating of his life.
I think Silva has posted up some mediocre fights. More than he should have. But, when he is motivated he has shown greatness. I think he is highly motivated this fight and not scared. He wants to kill Chael.
I don't think so. He's been refusing to fight this guy with a lame ass excuse: "He doesn't deserve to fight me"
That sounds to you like some guy who's motivated to fight? Than you're really bad a figuring out things.
He's as scarred as a coward, he doesn't want to fight this guy, but he got pressed into the corner, where he had to accept or get stripped of the belt. I mean, everyone, the fans, UFC want him to have a rematch with Sonnen, who is the best fighter for that belt and goes on to whine like a girl "he doesn't deserve it, he offended my family, Brazil".
This is a bunch of bullshit, Silva ain't no moral crybaby with high principles, give me a break. He's scared like never before. Now he got forced to accept the fight and is playing the role of a barking dog.
He's trying to show how though he is now once he is going to fight him by making statements he's gonna kill him.
Why didn't he make those statements the first time Chael challenged him and the first time UFC proposed him to fight him. No he went with lame excuses. That's not a fighter, that's a bitch.
I don't buy this bullshit of his "This guy offended me, I wanna destroy him". If he was really thinking that he would've done that long time ago.
He is scared, he knows he got his ass beaten in their last fight and he knows he won that fight by big luck (I don't think it was luck it was Chael's mistake and his skills, but that's what's going into his head) and he doesn't want to fight this guy.
I hope Chael destroys him this time. AS ain't the type for a champion.

I'm rooting for Chael in this one. He's easily the most entertaining trash-talker in the business, and I don't mean it in the crude way - the guy could make a career in stand-up comedy. He's so over the top that you cannot hate him, but he also proved that he can walk the walk the first time he fought Anderson.
As for Silva, I never really liked him as a person. I acknowledge his skill, but I still remember him acting like a douche throughout a fight, clowning around and showing disrespect only to bow to his opponent once the fight was over. That's hypocrisy to me and I hate hypocrisy. At least Sonnen is consistent in his antics.
For those who haven't seen it yet, highlights from the pre-fight press conference:
I hope Sonnen takes it!
Also, regardless of my personal preferences when it comes to fighters, I'm glad the UFC made this fight happen. It was expected ever since the first one had ended and it's the first UFC fight in quite some time that I'm actually excited about. I'd also be willing to see Mayweather and Pacquiao fight, but knowing the boxing world it won't happen or will happen when nobody really gives a damn anymore (perhaps this moment has already been reached). I'm glad the UFC delivers!

I agree Patrol, Silva is a prick. I agree with Ice too, what the fuck is Silva talking about that Chael doesn't deserve a rematch? Who would be more deserving of a rematch than the guy that won 99% of the fight before you miraculously got the submission? It's bullshit.
I'm not a big enough of an MMA fan to really pick a winner with any confidance. But if Sonnen loses I will be pissed.
Soon you'll be a pharmacy wizard, and you'll be jacked. Who would want to fuck with that? A crazy man, that's who.

Dunno about other bookie sites, but bet-at-home.com lists the prospective winnings as follows:
Silva = 1 : 1,30 Sonnen = 1 : 3,20
That's a BIG disproportion if you ask me. I'm surprised that so few people believe in Sonnen's victory considering that he was so close the last time.
I learnt my lesson and stopped betting ever since I bet some money on Fedor against Werdum, but if any of you have some spare cash, courage and you like the thrill then go for it, because in my opinion it's as close as it gets in terms of what you may gain and the probability of the underdog winning.
