It's going to be an ugly year. I thought that sugar vs canelo was bad enough. Tarver's going to get his ass crushed!

Hey, I've got an idea: let's just get it over with and have Vit-Klit fight Holyfield!

Though somewhat over the hill, Tarver still has a lot of ability and will be a very dangerous test, imo.
Keep in mind that Tarver hasn't really taken much damage in his career, has a solid defensive style, and his power is still there.
cheers,

I don't like his chances too much. He's 43 and it appears that he's not a fan of keeping his weight down much anymore.

If he makes weight without too much trouble, he'll box the mess out of Kayode

I stayed up till like 7am to watch Antonio Tarver - Danny Green... It was in Australia so i had to watch it on the internet... Anyways, Tarver didn't look bad at all. I think he even floored Green in the second round and eventually won by KO in the 9th i believe. Kayode is a strong ass dude (at least it seems that way). But i believe that Tarver is too skilled for him. Kayode should be fighting as a heavyweight anyways.. I wonder what he weighs on fight night.

What most impressed with Tarver was his chin!, and ability to change angles, Green landed some decent punches on Tarver and it did not even faze him, Green gassed a bit in the later rounds and Tarvers accuracy in the end just caught up with Green

It does seem that although Tarver was a bit flabby at heavy weight he still looks like he takes his conditioning seriously and cruiser seems to suit him well.

Sould be interesting to see how he fares against Kayodes youth and power

Kayode is very raw, If father time has not caught up with Tarver too much, and his conditioning is good, Tarver should box his ears off!

Is Tarver still with McGirt?

I hope you're all right. I can't stand watching old boxer get beat up.

I'm with everyone else on this one. Kayode hasn't impressed me at all. As long as Tarver isn't completely faded, an older, fatter version of Tarver will still be enough to take care of Kayode.
