its 3:30 AM.ive just been woken up by someone trying to break into my flat at uni. thankfuly the door held and by the sounds of it security have at least one of them but they totaly kicked in the flat upstair's door and raided the flat. fucking scary shit at the best of times. thing is im recovering from surgery on my shoulder and can just about do light physio. defiantly no fighting. if this ever happens again how do i incapacitate the fucker as soon as he gets through the door without ending up in court? i live in the UK so no guns / knives. i was going to get a baseball bat but they are useless one handed. any thoughts?

Having trained an protection GSD, I must say, I'd rather have a dog than any other weapon, but since I can have both I have an A-15 with a tac light on it and a 40 handgun. and more realistic, a loaded 12 gauge with Turkey load by my bed side. Never been to UK, seriously no weapons??

PS: if your take my dog thing seriously, depending on the dog you get you can either have a great pet that you take everywhere and spend hours a day training him in bite work/ obedience or just get a dog like the caucasian shepherd/caucasian ovcharka that is aggressive to EVERYTHING that isn't his/her family, and leave him very very secured in your house haha

sadly we cant have pets at uni, and no guns either. i guess i might get away with a kitchen knife but thats a court case waiting to happen

Get a claw hammer, switch the lights out and wait next to the door (not behind it as it will fall on you).

If they get in smash the first one in the forehead/nose etc with the hammer and shout into the room for backup, tell them to bring a knife etc. Anything to make the attackers think twice because you are in trouble in a fight. Hold you arm like it is not injured.

Just my opinion, but I believe caucasian, kangal dogs, filas etc all belong at the very least on big farms. A dog like a Heeler would do the trick.

I agree, but I've seen them in apartments so I figured what the hell. Also it doesn't have to be a large farm just a little bit of land and a large fence will make any dog happy, haha (I say this because a lot of dogs are bought and kept in an apartment so I'm comparing the two. Yes a dog with 50 acres will be more happy than one with 4 like myself...)

Yes it's cruel that they put these animals together, but it's the Chinese, what can you do? Regardless, these dogs take badass to whole new levels. And they average around at least 150 pounds per dog.

Are you allowed pepper spray? I not than ammonia in a spray bottle is good. You can also make an explosive seld defense device with aerosol hair spray as in a potato gun. Fill this shit with shot and straight to the fucking eyes. They'll back off. A razor sharp knife is a good bet too. Slash when they try to attack and stab when they defend themselves. Headbutt and kick. Ram your body into them. Preferably use the spray , and than grab the knife, sceam and rage like a motherfucker. Kick the shit out of their gut and knees. Also a light steel club swung with speed would be good. Don't be scared of some fucking punk mother fuckers.
