RossTraining on Instagram

For those interested, I have joined Instagram. I’ve been asked about it many times and finally took the plunge. You can follow me @rosstraining. It is still brand new to me but I’ve started to add a few training pictures.

The first image that I’ve added can be seen above. It was taken yesterday while training outside in the woods. It’s amazing how challenging and fun an outdoor session can be. We mixed in a variety of pull-ups, tree climbing, stone carries and throws, log lifts, calisthenics, and finished with some sprints at the top of the mountain. It made for a fun and challenging full body session while enjoying the great outdoors.

  1. I just wished I had been training this way all along. I always have my best workouts outside of the “gym” and seem to enjoy them much more. If I had started out training this way I probably would’ve never even walked into a conventional “gym.” However, out of loyalty and habit, I hit the conventional “gym” once or twice a week and train this way the rest of the time.
