The Fabulous Four
One of the most exciting periods in the history of boxing took place throughout the 1980′s with four legendary fighters. During this time, there were epic battles involving Roberto Duran, Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Thomas Hearns, and Sugar Ray Leonard. These combatants provided boxing fans with controversy, action, shocking finishes, and epic battles.

Bring back the 15rounds..haha
The Fab Four helped boxing stay afloat during the boring reign of Heavyweight king Larry Holmes. While lighter fighters are often more skillful and provided much more action, let’s face it the HW king is the usually all that matters to non fans of the sport. I was truly shocked when SRL dec. Hagler, I figured Hagler would destroy Leonard within 8 rounds. Another shocker from the 80′s had to be M. Spinks destroying the giant Gerry Cooney.
