Below is a brief video of Hall of Fame boxer Kostya Tszyu demonstrating a few exercises to improve reflexes and balance.

For those unfamiliar with Kostya, he was first an amateur world champion (1991) and eventually became a professional world champion as well.

Perhaps his most memorable highlight as a pro was his knockout victory over Zab Judah in 2001.  Footage from that fight can be seen below:

Following his retirement, Kostya was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame and now trains fighters as well.  He has been working with cruiserweight Denis Lebedev for several months now.  Kostya is certainly someone who others can learn from.

One exercise I like for balance: Fingertip Burpees with your eyes closed. Try it!

Not just a world champ! Unified 3 belts! He always came across like a nice fella too. Big moment in Russia and Australia when he beat Judah. Thanks for sharing Ross!

Don’t you love it when a dazed boxer tries to convince the ref he is fine. Kostya’s wife would braid his hair before every fight for some mojo magic.

Well done Ross, I followed Kostya from when he first got to australia and Johnny Lewis started training him and in my opinion he is the best pound 4 pound fighter of my time and I have seen many. I wish he got another shot at hatton and I still think it made no sense going there to defend his titles when he was the champ! Thanks for posting one of the highlights of my sporting life! Holyfield v Tyson 1 is easily 2nd haha
    Respect :-)
