    The narritive is old. I remember what’s it’s originally from but it’s about life, not MMA. In MMA, if there is no way you are going to win, it might be a good idea to not get up so you can continue on with your life. MMA isn’t life or death. It’s a sport. But it could cost you your life if you are super bull-headed and have a bad corner man and/or ref. That narrative and MMA sport fighting really don’t go together and can give people the wrong idea.
