Mike Tyson Tribute
Based on the popularity of the recent Ali tribute, here is another entertaining compilation. You will be hard pressed to find a better Tyson video on all of Youtube.
Part I
Part II
I still can’t believe that it has been 25 years since Tyson turned pro back in March of 1985. It seems like yesterday when we’d gather around the television to watch a prime Tyson in the 1980’s.
And for those interested in some amateur footage of Tyson, here is a brief display of hand speed (with Teddy Atlas looking on).
Enjoy,
Ross

BEAST in every sense of the word
Great videos.
I think Tyson is both one of the best and one of the saddest stories in boxing. It serves as a lesson to the up and coming boxers that physical talent is not enough, it must be tempered with a good mental attitude in and out of the ring.
I think Tyson is also one of the best examples of the importance of great trainers and mentors for boxers, and the value these people can have. Cus not only moulded a great boxer, but a great man. And it is a shame how things have developed since his passing.
Yeah I remember those fights in the 80’s He was awesome. And I wish time could go back and he could redo some things he would have such amazing professional respect. Just watched a special on him and you just sit back in awe at his power and talent. whatever happened to Macho Comacho??
he had it all but like joe said, miss guidence and the people that you have round you make a difference, when your at your known as great those people call you epic, but when you slip they help push you down. we should never dwell on what could have been, but IF cus was still alive, how would the course of “iron” mike tyson been?
he’ll always be a legend
Tremendous boxer.
Considering his situation before getting into boxing and being discovered by Cus I think we can still say boxing saved his life.
Ross did you ever catch the 2008 documentary called Tyson? Fascinating, he opened up about his life and career. Really amazing stuff.
The question that will always be in my mind is, what would have hapenned if Tyson stayed with Rooney and didnt have a falling out with Atlas?
There was a three or four year period where Tyson was one of the greatest! I’ve heard people debate who’d win between he and Ali. As great as Tyson was, Ali would take him, especially in the days of 15 rounders.
[...] tribute to Mike Tyson. Simply awesome. I want to give a direct shout to Ross Enamait, who is behind [...]
Tyson is awesome, i reckon one of the best. Fantastic speed for his size.
Too bad Don King got his claws into him.
Broke my heart watching Tyson’s last few fights, those guys would’nt have lasted a round when he was in his prime.
@Markstraining: I think the real question is: what would’ve happened to Tyson has d’Amato died 1 years later? Probably a different story..
Anyway, awesome tribute. Ad the third vid (shadowboxing).. I must have watched it hundreds of times on several different videos, it’s still mesmerizing to see such a big guy move that fast…
Pure Gold!
I would have liked to have seen Tyson in his prime against Holyfield.
Personally, I think Tyson leaving pro was one of the biggest loss to the world of boxing
