Great post Ross. I really enjoyed it. It’s always good to put things into perspective by saying that it’s not the need for the most expensive tool or best program out there as it is the effort you put into it. With a good program and the will of a champion you can go far in life.
Awesome. It took me so long to realise this.
If ever anyone was guilty of paralysis by analysis, it was me. Often the only motivation I need these days is remembering the workouts I’ve wasted, and I’m still learning how to push myself.
A spot on reminder!
Thanks for sharing.
thank you for taking the time to write the article and show it to us!
Hey Ross!!! It’s your boy Chuck!
Another good one man Ross. I think it’s great that you still take the time out of your busy schedule to sit down & remind us all of what it’s all about. You tell it so straight man, I don’t ever see how there can ever be critics to your words they would only make themselves look stupid if doing so man. This was a real good reminder, i love your blog entry’s but man i really love when you write a new article or put out a new video, I can’t wait till you put out another book or dvd that’s gonna be awsome. Again thanks for the new article it was well written & full of undeniable truth as they always are.
I want you to know that i train hard each & everyday & defy the odds so that I never shame true warriors like you & great champions that have inspired us. Thanks again Ross YOU ARE THE MAN!!!
How could this article not be an A+ when it’s got my man Marvelous Marvin in there….taking all of the Hitman’s best, and putting him away….what a classic……good stuff!
that pace was frantic! ridiculous.
I love the article and video. I saw this fight with my father on big screen in Washington DC (before pay per view, ect.). I’ve always loved seeing the middleweights, great combination of speed, power and technique. Thank you for the reminder that its always important to remember to not just get the work done but to do it right, like you mean it. Train like you expect a fight tomorrow. If you want it don’t waste time. Training is a balance, you don’t want to overtrain and burn out but you need to push the envelope if you want to achieve your goals. Step outside of your comfort zone, that is where you’ll really achieve something. You don’t need all the bells and whistles, while they certainly can help, if you don’t have them that should never stop you. Thank you Ross for the reminder.
