I’m excited…

You aren’t a fight fan if you are not excited about this weekend.  After all the trash talking over the past few months, it is time to put up or shut up.  I can’t wait.

Here is a promotional video that I came across on Youtube:

I think some of my American friends are underestimating Ricky Hatton. He never takes himself too seriously and doesn’t believe in macho posing and hype in the way some fighters do. Don’t let that fool you into thinking he’s not serious. In the ring, in the flesh, he’s absolutely awesome. Anyone who’s heard - let alone felt - his body punches will understand what I mean. May the best man win.

I think Hatton will win, just because his attitude is absolutely world class.

    COME ON RICKY!

I am extremely excited for this fight. The Jeff Lacy fight is a perfect test to see how healthy he is bouncing back from his surgery and last fight. Manfredo should make it interesting. With Hatton and Mayweather, I am taking Mayweather. His defense rivals that of the Sweet Pea and barring him hurting his soft hands early in the fight, I cannot see the Hitman tearing into him. I do think Hatton is a beast but Floyd is unreal. This is why I am so excited, a good test for Floyd’s legacy.

I think floyd will win the fight but as the man I gotta love hatton. this being an international fight mayweather is giving the rest of the world more reason to hate americans. I mean flipping off a crowd isn’t gonna get your reputation up. but I personnaly think that floyd is the better boxer because of his handspeed and defence.

Honestly, I’m more excited about the Ultimate Fighter finale with Roger Huerta fighting Clay Guida! I see Mayweather taking a decision with some interesting moments, but Hatton has never faced anyone with Floyd’s pedigree, and the last time he fought someone with speed, Collazo, he was given a bit of a gift. I’m really pulling for Manfredo in this fight because he definitely needs to come back from that pitiful performance against Calzaghe. When they sign Cotto to meet Mayweather, then I’ll be excited!
