Courage
Looking for a display of courage?
Look no further than high school cross country runner Claire Markwardt. Definitely take a moment to watch the video and read the article below:

Enjoy,

That’s seriously impressive. Don’t really know what else to say, really shows how crap most peoples (including my) excuses are.
BTW, Ross, great inspirational blog posts recently!
enjoy?!
that brought tears to my eyes….
Ye gads that girl has more sack than I’ll ever have. To think I was whinning about my inflamed achillies tendon, debating whether I could tough out boxing class this morning. Then I watch that amazing girl. She is tough as nails.
Great article. That girl has guts.
Great article and post. She has heart!
This is a good example of how long distance running makes you rapidly age. The girl in in high school but she look like she is in her late 20’s to early 30’s.
I dn’t think that is true Geraldo…
This young lady has been subjected to rigorous overtraining and excess dieting. She’s obviously undernourished and suffering from damaging hormonal changes and bone density loss. She’s a classic case of female athlete triade. Frankly, I don’t see courage, yet a sad athlete dragging her shattered body (and dream) pathetically across the finish line. This young lady, her coaches, and parents need a good lesson in proper nutrition and supplementation.
^^ Bitch ^^
Actually, Sheryl, Claire is very well nourished and runs for a program that, if anything, eres on the side of caution and modest mileage. She’s a classic case of a dedicated athlete and an All-American kid. It’s amazing that anyone can jump to these conclusions based on second hand reports, poor video and a picture or two.
